Leviticus 25

35 " ‘And if your*Singular throughout this verse countryman*Or "brother" becomes poor and if he becomes dependent on you,*Literally "and his hand is shaky with you" then*Or "and" you shall support him like an alien and like a temporary resident, and he shall live with you. 36 You*Singular throughout this verse must not take interest or*Or "and" usury from him, but*Or "and" you shall revere your God, and your countryman*Or "brother" shall live with you.
