Lucas 7

11 The day following, he went into a city called Nain, accompanied by his disciples, and a great crowd.12 As he approached the gate of the city, the people were carrying out a dead man, the only son of his mother, who was a widow; and many of the citizens were with her.13 When the Lord saw her, he had pity upon her, and said to her, Weep not.14 Then he advanced and touched the bier, (the bearers stopping,) and said, Young man, arise, I command you.15 Then he who had been dead, sat up, and began to speak, and he delivered him to his mother.16 And all present were struck with awe, and glorified God, saying, A great prophet has arisen among us; and God has visited his people.17 And this report, concerning him, spread throughout Judea, and all the neighboring country.
