2Behold, God [is] my salvation, I trust, and do not fear, || For my strength and song [is] YAH—YHWH, || And He is to me for salvation.
3And you have drawn waters with joy || Out of the fountains of salvation,
4And you have said in that day, || Give praise to YHWH, call on His Name. Make His acts known among the peoples. Make mention that His Name is set on high.
16for what, have you known, O wife, whether you will save the husband? Or what, have you known, O husband, whether you will save the wife?
20Each in the calling in which he was called—in this let him remain;
22for he who [is] in the LORD—having been called a servant—is the LORD’s freedman: in like manner also he the freeman, having been called, is servant of Christ:
3My God [is] my rock—I take refuge in Him; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, || My high tower, and my refuge! My Savior, You save me from violence!
47YHWH lives, and blessed [is] my Rock, || And exalted is my God—The Rock of my salvation.
51Magnifying the salvations of His king, || And doing loving-kindness to His anointed, || To David, and to his seed—for all time!"
3how will we escape, having neglected such great salvation? Which having received [that] spoken through the LORD [from] the beginning, was confirmed to us by those having heard,
9and we see Him who was made [a] little less than messengers—Jesus—because of the suffering of death, having been crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste of death for everyone.
10For it was fitting to Him, because of whom [are] all things, and through whom [are] all things, bringing many sons to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings,
15but sanctify the LORD God in your hearts. And always [be] ready for defense to everyone who is asking of you an account concerning the hope that [is] in you, with meekness and fear,
21also an antitype to immersion which now saves you—not a putting away of the filth of flesh, but the question of a good conscience in regard to God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
22who is at the right hand of God, having gone on to Heaven—messengers, and authorities, and powers, having been subjected to Him.
5But you—watch in all things; suffer evil; do the work of one proclaiming good news; make full assurance of your ministry,
18and the LORD will free me from every evil work, and will save [me]—to His heavenly kingdom; to whom [is] the glory through the ages of the ages! Amen.
22The Lord Jesus Christ [is] with your spirit. The grace [is] with you! Amen.
21A voice is heard on high places—weeping, || Supplications of the sons of Israel, || For they have made their way perverse, || They have forgotten their God YHWH.
22"Return, O backsliding sons, || I cause your backslidings to cease." "Behold us, we have come to You, || For You [are] our God YHWH.
23Surely in vain—from the heights, || The multitude of mountains—Surely the salvation of Israel [is] in our God YHWH.
15for if the casting away of them [is] a reconciliation of the world, what the reception—if not life out of the dead?
22Behold, then, goodness and severity of God—on those indeed who fell, severity; and on you, goodness, if you may remain in the goodness, otherwise, you also will be cut off.
36Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him [are] all things; to Him [is] the glory—for all ages. Amen.
8and we, being of the day—let us be sober, putting on a breastplate of faith and love, and a helmet—a hope of salvation,
17continually pray;
28The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you! Amen.
8O Hope of Israel—its Savior in time of trouble, || Why are You as a sojourner in the land? And as a traveler turned aside to lodge?
9Why are You as one mute? As a mighty one not able to save? And You [are] in our midst, O YHWH, || And Your Name is called over us, || Do not leave us.
21Do not despise, for Your Name’s sake, || Do not dishonor the throne of Your glory, || Remember, do not break Your covenant with us.
4and when the kindness and the love to men of God our Savior appeared
5(not by works that [are] in righteousness that we did but according to His kindness), He saved us, through a bathing of regeneration, and a renewing of the Holy Spirit,
15All those with me greet you. Greet those cherishing us in faith. The grace [is] with you all!
13And may You not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil [one], because Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory—for all ages. Amen.
14For if you may forgive men their trespasses He also will forgive you—your Father who [is] in the heavens;
30And if the herb of the field, that today is, and tomorrow is cast into the furnace, God so clothes—not much more you, O you of little faith?
7Do you speak perverseness for God? And do you speak deceit for Him?
15Behold, He slays me—I do not wait! Only, I argue my ways to His face.
16Also—He [is] to me for salvation, || For the profane do not come before Him.
3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
18for the word of the Cross to those indeed perishing is foolishness, and to us—those being saved—it is the power of God,
31that, according as it has been written: "He who is glorying—let him glory in the LORD."
7And in the abundance of Your excellence || You throw down Your withstanders, || You send forth Your wrath—It consumes them as stubble.
9The enemy said, I pursue, I overtake; I apportion spoil; My soul is filled with them; I draw out my sword; My hand destroys them—
13You have led forth in Your kindness || The people whom You have redeemed. You have led on in Your strength || To Your holy habitation.
7there comes a woman out of Samaria to draw water. Jesus says to her, "Give Me to drink";
22you worship what you have not known; we worship what we have known, because salvation is of the Jews;
42and said to the woman, "We no longer believe because of your speaking; for we ourselves have heard and known that this is truly the Savior of the world—the Christ."
16[This] One—the Spirit—testifies with our spirit, that we are children of God;
34who [is] he that is condemning? Christ [is] He that died, indeed, rather also, was raised up; who is also on the right hand of God—who also interceded for us.
35Who will separate us from the love of the Christ? Tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
1TO THE OVERSEER. BY A SERVANT OF YHWH, BY DAVID, WHO HAS SPOKEN TO YHWH THE WORDS OF THIS SONG IN THE DAY YHWH DELIVERED HIM FROM THE HAND OF ALL HIS ENEMIES, AND FROM THE HAND OF SAUL, AND HE SAYS: I love You, O YHWH, my strength.
46YHWH lives—and blessed [is] my rock, || And exalted is the God of my salvation.
50Magnifying the salvation of His king, || And doing kindness to His anointed, || To David, and to his seed—for all time!
6but He who is comforting the cast-down—God—He comforted us in the coming of Titus;
10for sorrow toward God works conversion to salvation without regret, and the sorrow of the world works death,
11for behold, this same thing—your being made sorry toward God—how much diligence it works in you! But defense, but displeasure, but fear, but longing desire, but zeal, but revenge; in everything you approved yourselves to be pure in the matter.
11A just beam and balances [are] YHWH’s, || All the stones of the bag [are] His work.
15In the light of a king’s face [is] life, || And his goodwill [is] as a cloud of the spring rain.
16To get wisdom—how much better than gold, || And to get understanding—to be chosen [more] than silver!
