1That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we beheld, and our hands handled, concerning the Word of Life—

7and if we may walk in the light, as He is in the light—we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of His Son Jesus Christ cleanses us from every sin;

9if we may confess our sins, He is steadfast and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from every unrighteousness;

3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

16no longer as a servant, but above a servant—a beloved brother, especially to me, and how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the LORD!

25The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with your spirit! Amen.

15but sanctify the LORD God in your hearts. And always [be] ready for defense to everyone who is asking of you an account concerning the hope that [is] in you, with meekness and fear,

21also an antitype to immersion which now saves you—not a putting away of the filth of flesh, but the question of a good conscience in regard to God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

22who is at the right hand of God, having gone on to Heaven—messengers, and authorities, and powers, having been subjected to Him.

8draw near to God, and He will draw near to you; cleanse hands, you sinners! And purify hearts, you split-souled!

12One is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy; you—who are you that judges the other?

14who does not know the thing of tomorrow; for what is your life? For it is a vapor that is appearing for a little [while], and then is vanishing;

1As to the rest, pray, brothers, concerning us, that the word of the LORD may run and may be glorified, as also with you,

17The salutation by the hand of me, Paul, which is a sign in every letter; thus I write.

18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you all! Amen.

4and when the kindness and the love to men of God our Savior appeared

5(not by works that [are] in righteousness that we did but according to His kindness), He saved us, through a bathing of regeneration, and a renewing of the Holy Spirit,

15All those with me greet you. Greet those cherishing us in faith. The grace [is] with you all!

12and having sighed deeply in His spirit, He says, "Why does this generation seek after a sign? Truly I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation."

35for whoever may will to save his life will lose it; and whoever may lose his life for My sake and for the good news’ sake, he will save it;

36for what will it profit a man, if he may gain the whole world, and forfeit his life?

8And now, as a small moment grace has been from our God YHWH, to leave an escape for us, and to give to us a nail in His holy place, by our God’s enlightening our eyes, and by giving us a little quickening in our servitude;

10And now, what do we say, O our God, after this? For we have forsaken Your commands,

12and now, your daughters you do not give to their sons, and their daughters you do not take to your sons, and you do not seek their peace, and their good—for all time, so that you are strong, and have eaten the good of the land, and given possession to your sons for all time.

2My strength and song is YAH, || And He is become my salvation: This [is] my God, and I glorify Him; God of my father, and I exalt Him.

9The enemy said, I pursue, I overtake; I apportion spoil; My soul is filled with them; I draw out my sword; My hand destroys them—

13You have led forth in Your kindness || The people whom You have redeemed. You have led on in Your strength || To Your holy habitation.

18YHWH reigns—[for] all time and forever!"

11the persecutions, the afflictions, that befell me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra; what persecutions I endured! And the LORD delivered me out of all.

15and because you have known the Holy Writings from infancy, which are able to make you wise—to salvation, through faith that [is] in Christ Jesus.

17that the man of God may be fitted—having been completed for every good work.

1Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, to the assembly of Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

3unceasingly remembering your work of faith, and the labor of the love, and the endurance of the hope, of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the presence of our God and Father,

10and to wait for His Son from the heavens, whom He raised out of the dead—Jesus, who is rescuing us from the anger that is coming.

6and there was there a well of Jacob. Jesus therefore having been weary from the journeying, was thus sitting on the well; it was as it were the sixth hour;

7there comes a woman out of Samaria to draw water. Jesus says to her, "Give Me to drink";

22… what we have known, because salvation is of the Jews;

42and said to the woman, "We no longer believe because of your speaking; for we ourselves have heard and known that this is truly the Savior of the world—the Christ."

3forbidding to marry—to abstain from meats that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those believing and acknowledging the truth,

5for it is sanctified through the word of God and intercession.

10for this we both labor and are reproached, because we hope on the living God, who is Savior of all men—especially of those believing.

7All your allies have sent you to the border, || Forgotten you, prevailed over you, have your friends, || They make your bread a snare under you, || There is no understanding in him!

14Nor stand by the breach to cut off its escaped, || Nor deliver up its remnant in a day of distress.

21And saviors have gone up on Mount Zion, || To judge the mountain of Esau, || And the kingdom has been to YHWH!

2in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, have understood by scrolls the number of the years (in that a word of YHWH has been to Jeremiah the prophet), concerning the fulfilling of the desolations of Jerusalem—seventy years;

17and now, listen, O our God, to the prayer of Your servant, and to his supplication, and cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary that [is] desolate, for the Lord’s sake.

19O Lord, hear, O Lord, forgive; O Lord, attend and do; do not delay, for Your own sake, O my God, for Your Name is called on Your city, and on Your people.

11because today in the city of David a Savior was born to you, who is Christ the LORD!

14"Glory in the highest to God, and on earth peace, among men—good will!"

30because my eyes saw Your salvation,

15And Yeshurun waxes fat, and kicks: You have been fat, you have been thick, || You have been covered. And he leaves God who made him, || And dishonors the Rock of his salvation.

36For YHWH judges His people, || And gives comfort over His servants. For He sees the going away of power, || And none is restrained and left.

40For I lift up My hand to the heavens, || And have said, I live for all time!

41If I have sharpened the brightness of My sword, || And My hand lays hold on judgment, || I return vengeance to My adversaries, || And to those hating Me—I repay!

12for the Word of God is living, and working, and sharper—beyond every two-edged sword—and piercing as far as [the] division of soul and spirit, of joints and also marrows, and a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart;

14Having, then, a great Chief Priest having passed through the heavens—Jesus the Son of God—may we hold fast the profession,

16we may come near, then, with freedom, to the throne of grace, that we may receive kindness, and find grace—for seasonable help.

2Behold, God [is] my salvation, I trust, and do not fear, || For my strength and song [is] YAH—YHWH, || And He is to me for salvation.

3And you have drawn waters with joy || Out of the fountains of salvation,

4And you have said in that day, || Give praise to YHWH, call on His Name. Make His acts known among the peoples. Make mention that His Name is set on high.

10It is sharpened so as to slaughter a slaughter. It is polished so as to have brightness, || Or do we rejoice? It is despising the scepter of My son [as] every tree.

11And He gives it for polishing, || For laying hold of by the hand. It is sharpened—the sword—and polished, || To give it into the hand of a slayer.

14And you, son of man, prophesy, || And strike hand on hand, || And the sword is bent a third time, || The sword of the wounded! It [is] the sword of the wounded—the great one, || That is entering the inner chamber to them.
