36the word that He sent to the sons of Israel, proclaiming good news—peace through Jesus Christ (this One is Lord of all),

38Jesus who [is] from Nazareth—how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and power; who went through, doing good, and healing all those oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him;

41not to all the people, but to witnesses, to those having been chosen before by God—to us who ate with [Him], and drank with Him, after His rising out of the dead;

1A SONG OF THE ASCENTS. I lift up my eyes to the hills, || From where does my help come?

5YHWH [is] He who is preserving you, || YHWH [is] your shade on your right hand,

8YHWH preserves your going out and your coming in, || From now on—even for all time!

7Woe! For that day [is] great, without any like it, || Indeed, it [is] the time of Jacob’s tribulation, || Yet he is saved out of it.

10And you, do not be afraid, My servant Jacob, || A declaration of YHWH, || Nor be frightened, O Israel, || For behold, I am saving you from afar, || And your seed from the land of their captivity, || And Jacob has turned back and rested, || And is quiet, and there is none troubling.

15Why do you cry concerning your breach? Your pain [is] incurable, || Because of the abundance of your iniquity, || Your sins have been mighty! I have done these to you.

12For this reason, also Jesus—that He might sanctify the people through [His] own blood—suffered outside the gate;

20And the God of peace, who brought up the Great Shepherd of the sheep out of the dead—by the blood of a perpetual covenant—our Lord Jesus,

25The grace [is] with you all! Amen.

1Brothers, the pleasure indeed of my heart, and my supplication that [is] to God for Israel, is—for salvation;

8But what does it say? "The saying is near you—in your mouth, and in your heart": that is, the saying of the faith that we preach;

10for with the heart [one] believes to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation;

7Behold, I cry out—violence, and am not answered, I cry aloud, and there is no judgment.

25That—I have known my Redeemer, || The Living and the Last, || For He raises the dust.

26And after my skin has surrounded this [body], || Then from my flesh I see God—

10for if anyone may see you that have knowledge in an idol’s temple reclining to eat, will not his conscience—he being weak—be emboldened to eat the things sacrificed to idols?

11For the [one] being weak—the brother for whom Christ died—will perish by your knowledge.

12And thus sinning in regard to the brothers, and striking their weak conscience—you sin in regard to Christ;

14Without counsels a people falls, || And deliverance [is] in a multitude of counselors.

19Correctly [is] righteousness for life, || And whoever is pursuing evil—for his own death.

25A liberal soul is made fat, || And whoever is watering, he also is watered.

2O YHWH, favor us, || We have waited for You, || Be their arm, in the mornings, || Indeed, our salvation in time of adversity.

6And has been the steadfastness of your times, || The strength of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge, || Fear of YHWH—it [is] His treasure.

22For YHWH, ours who is judging, || YHWH our lawgiver, || YHWH our King—He saves us.

1A PSALM OF ASAPH. O God, nations have come into Your inheritance, || They have defiled Your holy temple, || They made Jerusalem become heaps,

9Help us, O God of our salvation, || Because of the glory of Your Name, || And deliver us, and cover over our sins, || For Your Name’s sake.

13And we, Your people, and the flock of Your pasture, || We give thanks to You for all time, || We recount Your praise from generation to generation!

10And I say, "Aah! Lord YHWH, || Surely you have entirely forgotten this people and Jerusalem, || Saying, Peace is for you, || And a sword has struck to the soul!"

14Wash evil from your heart, O Jerusalem, || That you may be saved, || Until when do you lodge in your heart || Thoughts of your strength?

20Destruction on destruction is proclaimed, || For all the land has been spoiled, || My tents have suddenly been spoiled, || In a moment—my curtains.

12But He, having offered one sacrifice for sin—to the end, sat down at the right hand of God—

20which [is] the way He initiated for us—new and living, through the veil, that is, His flesh—

26For [if] we are sinning willingly after receiving the full knowledge of the truth—there remains no more sacrifice for sins,

7Why do the wicked live? They have become old, || Indeed, they have been mighty in wealth.

19God lays up for his sons his sorrow, || He gives repayment to him—and he knows.

30That the wicked is spared to a day of calamity. They are brought to a day of wrath.

1What, then, will we say? Will we continue in sin that grace may abound?

2Let it not be! We who died to sin—how will we still live in it?

22And now, having been freed from sin, and having become servants to God, you have your fruit—to sanctification, and the end continuous life;

1TO THE OVERSEER. BY A SERVANT OF YHWH, BY DAVID. The transgression of the wicked || Is affirming within my heart, "Fear of God is not before his eyes,

6Your righteousness [is] as mountains of God, || Your judgments [are] a great deep. You save man and beast, O YHWH.

7How precious [is] Your kindness, O God, || And the sons of men trust || In the shadow of Your wings.

1Bel has bowed down, Nebo is stooping, || Their idols have been for the beast and for livestock, || Your burdens are loaded, a burden to the weary.

9Remember former things of old, || For I [am] Mighty, and there is none else, || God—and there is none like Me.

13I have brought My righteousness near, || It is not far off, || And My salvation—it does not linger, || And I have given salvation in Zion, || For Israel My glory!"

3From the sound of the stamping of the hooves of his mighty ones, || From the rushing of his chariot, || The noise of his wheels, || Fathers have not turned to sons, || From feebleness of hands,

5Baldness has come to Gaza, || Ashkelon has been cut off, || O remnant of their valley, || Until when do you cut yourself?

6Behold, sword of YHWH, until when are you not quiet? Be removed to your sheath, rest and cease.

2looking to the Author and Perfecter of the faith—Jesus, who, for the joy set before Him, endured a cross, having despised shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God;

4You did not yet resist to blood—striving with sin;

24and to a mediator of a new covenant—Jesus, and to blood of sprinkling, speaking better things than that of Abel!

1TO THE OVERSEER. BY DAVID. A fool has said in his heart, "There is no God"; They have done corruptly, || They have done abominable actions, || There is not a doer of good.

2YHWH has looked from the heavens on the sons of men, || To see if there is a wise one—seeking God.

7"Who gives the salvation of Israel from Zion?" When YHWH turns back || [To] a captivity of His people, || Jacob rejoices—Israel is glad!

1For Zion’s sake I am not silent, || And for Jerusalem’s sake I do not rest, || Until her righteousness goes out as brightness, || And her salvation burns as a torch.

10Pass on, pass on through the gates, || Prepare the way of the people, || Raise up, raise up the highway, clear it from stones, || Lift up an ensign over the peoples.

12And they have cried to them, "The People of the Holy One! The Redeemed of YHWH!" Indeed, to you is called, "The sought out one, a city not forsaken!"
