12 Da brachte ganz Juda die Zehnten vom Getreide, Most und Öl zum Schatz.

13 Und ich setzte über die Schätze Selemja, den Priester, und Zadok, den Schriftgelehrten, und aus den Leviten Pedaja, und unter ihre Hand Hanan, den Sohn Sachurs, des Sohns Mathanjas; denn sie wurden für treu gehalten, und ihnen ward befohlen, ihren Brüdern auszuteilen.

14 Gedenke, mein GOtt, mir daran und tilge nicht aus meine Barmherzigkeit, die ich an meines Gottes Hause und an seiner Hut getan habe!

12 Then brought all Judah the tithe of the grain and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries. 13 And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah; for they were counted faithful, and their business was to distribute unto their brethren. 14 Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the observances thereof.
