2And many nations will come and say:"Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,to the house of the God of Jacob.He will teach us His ways,so that we may walk in His paths."For the law will go forth from Zionand the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
7And I will make the lame into a remnant,the outcast into a strong nation.Then the LORD will rule over them in Mount Zionfrom that day and forever.
10Writhe in agony, O Daughter of Zion,like a woman in labor.For now you will leave the cityand camp in the open fields.You will go to Babylon;there you will be rescued;there the LORD will redeem youfrom the hand of your enemies!
9Why are You like a man taken by surprise,like a warrior powerless to save?Yet You are among us, O LORD,and we are called by Your name.Do not forsake us!
13"Ah, Lord GOD!" I replied, "Look, the prophets are telling them, ‘You will not see the sword or suffer famine, but I will give you lasting peace in this place.’"
21For the sake of Your name do not despise us;do not disgrace Your glorious throne.Remember Your covenant with us;do not break it.
9Immediately the man was made well, and he picked up his mat and began to walk.Now this happened on the Sabbath day,
10so the Jews said to the man who had been healed, "This is the Sabbath! It is unlawful for you to carry your mat."

7Stay far away from a false accusation. Do not kill the innocent or the just, for I will not acquit the guilty.

27I will send My terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn and run.
16The presence of the LORD has scattered them;He regards them no more.The priests are shown no honor;the elders find no favor.
20The LORD’s anointed, the breath of our life,was captured in their pits.We had said of him,"Under his shadow we will live among the nations."
22O Daughter of Zion, your punishment is complete;He will not prolong your exile.4:22 Or He will not exile you againBut He will punish your iniquity, O Daughter of Edom;He will expose your sins.
9Whatever you plot against the LORD,He will bring to an end.Affliction will not rise upa second time.
14The LORD has issued a command concerning you, O Nineveh:"There will be no descendantsto carry on your name.I will cut off the carved image and cast idolfrom the house of your gods;I will prepare your grave,for you are contemptible."
15Look to the mountains—the feet of one who brings good news,who proclaims peace!Celebrate your feasts, O Judah;fulfill your vows.For the wicked will never again march through you;they will be utterly cut off.
13So rend your hearts and not your garments,and return to the LORD your God.For He is gracious and compassionate,slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion.2:13 Forms of the Hebrew chesed are translated here and in most cases throughout the Scriptures as loving devotion; the range of meaning includes love, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, and mercy, as well as loyalty to a covenant.And He relents from sending disaster.
16Gather the people, sanctify the congregation,assemble the aged, gather the children,even those nursing at the breast.Let the bridegroom leave his room,and the bride her chamber.
32And everyone who calls on the name of the LORDwill be saved;2:32 Cited in Acts 2:17–21 and Romans 10:13for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalemthere will be deliverance, as the LORD has promised,among the remnant called by the LORD.[’’]
6And David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of every man grieved for his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.
8and David inquired of the LORD: "Should I pursue these raiders? Will I overtake them?""Pursue them," the LORD replied, "for you will surely overtake them and rescue the captives."
15"Will you lead me to these raiders?" David asked.And the man replied, "Swear to me by God that you will not kill me or deliver me into the hand of my master, and I will lead you to them."
9It shall be a sign for you on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that the Law of the LORD is to be on your lips. For with a mighty hand the LORD brought you out of Egypt.
13You must redeem every firstborn donkey with a lamb, and if you do not redeem it, you are to break its neck. And every firstborn of your sons you must redeem.
14In the future, when your son asks you, ‘What does this mean?’ you are to tell him, ‘With a mighty hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
5He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth3:5 Or of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
6This is the Spirit He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
