10 Zuletzt: werdet stark im Herrn und in der gewaltigen, ihm innewohnenden Kraft.
11 Ziehet die volle Waffenrüstung Gottes an, damit ihr gegen die listigen Anläufe des Teufels zu bestehen vermögt!
12 Denn wir haben nicht mit Wesen (oder: Gegnern) von Fleisch und Blut zu kämpfen, sondern mit den (überirdischen) Mächten, mit den (teuflischen) Gewalten, mit den Beherrschern dieser Welt der Finsternis, mit den bösen Geisterwesen in der Himmelswelt.
13 Darum nehmt die volle Waffenrüstung Gottes zur Hand, damit ihr imstande seid, am bösen Tage Widerstand zu leisten, alles gut auszurichten und das Feld zu behaupten!
14 So stehet also da, an den Hüften gegürtet mit Wahrheit, angetan mit dem Panzer der Gerechtigkeit,
15 an den Füßen beschuht mit der Bereitschaft, die Heilsbotschaft des Friedens zu verkünden!
16 Zu dem allem ergreift noch den Großschild des Glaubens, mit dem ihr alle Brandgeschosse des Bösen zum Verlöschen werdet bringen können.
17 Nehmet auch den Helm des Heils an euch und das Schwert des Geistes, nämlich das Wort Gottes.
18 Betet allezeit im Geist mit Bitten und Flehen jeder Art, und seid zu diesem Zweck wachsam mit aller Beharrlichkeit und unter Fürbitte für alle Heiligen,
10 The rest, brethren of me, strengthen yourselves in Lord and in the power of the might of him.
11 Put you on the complete armor of the God, for that to enable you to stand against the crafty ways of the accuser;
12 because not is to us the comfort with blood and flesh, but with the governments, with the authorities, with the worldrulers of the darkness of this, with the spiritual things of the evil one, in the heavenlies.
13 Because of this take you up the complete armor of the God, so that you may be able to stand against in the day the evil, and all things having worked out to stand.
14 Stand you therefore having girded the loins of you with truth, and having put on the breastplate of the righteousness,
15 and having shod the feet with a preparation of the glad tidings of the peace; Ephesians
16 besides all having taken up the shield of the faith, by which you will be able all the darts of the evil one the having been kindled to quench;
17 also the helmet of the salvation take you, and the sword of the spirit, which is a word of God;
18 by means of every prayer and supplication praying in every season in spirit; and for it this watching with all perseverance and supplication for all of the holy ones,
