25 »Deswegen sage ich euch: Macht euch keine Sorgen um euer Leben, was ihr essen und was ihr trinken sollt, auch nicht um euren Leib, was ihr anziehen sollt. Ist nicht das Leben wertvoller als die Nahrung und der Leib wertvoller als die Kleidung?

26 Sehet die Vögel des Himmels an: sie säen nicht und ernten nicht und sammeln nichts in Scheuern, und euer himmlischer Vater ernährt sie doch. Seid ihr denn nicht viel mehr wert als sie?

27 Wer von euch vermöchte aber mit all seinem Sorgen der Länge seiner Lebenszeit auch nur eine einzige Spanne zuzusetzen?

28 Und was macht ihr euch Sorge um die Kleidung? Betrachtet die Lilien auf dem Felde, wie sie wachsen! Sie arbeiten nicht und spinnen nicht;

29 und doch sage ich euch: Auch Salomo in aller seiner Pracht ist nicht so herrlich gekleidet gewesen wie eine von ihnen.

30 Wenn nun Gott schon das Gras des Feldes, das heute steht und morgen in den Ofen geworfen wird, so kleidet: wird er das nicht viel mehr euch tun, ihr Kleingläubigen?

31 Darum sollt ihr nicht sorgen und sagen: ›Was sollen wir essen, was trinken, womit sollen wir uns kleiden?‹

32 Denn auf alles derartige sind die Heiden bedacht. Euer himmlischer Vater weiß ja, daß ihr dies alles bedürft.

33 Nein, trachtet zuerst nach dem Reiche Gottes und nach seiner Gerechtigkeit, dann wird euch all das andere obendrein gegeben werden.

34 Macht euch also keine Sorgen um den morgenden Tag! Denn der morgende Tag wird seine eigenen Sorgen haben; jeder Tag hat an seiner eigenen Mühsal genug.«

25 For this I say to you: Not be over careful the life of you, what you may eat, and what you may drink; nor to the body of you, what you may put on. Not the life more is the food, and the body the clothing?

26 Look attentively at the birds of the heaven, for not they sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns; and the Father of you the heavenly feeds them. Not you greatly excel them?

27 Which and by of you being over careful is able to add to the age of him span one?

28 And about clothing why be over careful? Consider the lilies of the field how it grows; not it labors, nor spins;

29 I say but to you, that not even Solomon in all the glory of him was clothed like one of these.

30 If then the grass of the field, today existing and tomorrow into an oven is being cast, the God so clothes, not much more you, O you of weak faith?

31 Not therefore you may be over careful, saying: What may we eat, or what may we drink, or what may we put on?

32 All for these the Gentiles seeks; knows for the Father of you the heavenly, that you have need of these all.

33 Seek you but first the kingdom of the God and the righteousness of him, and these all shall be superadded to you.

34 Not therefore be over careful for the morrow; the for morrow will be over careful of the herself. Enough to the day the trouble of her.
