19 Then, when they had rowed about *6:19 Possibly 3-4 miles or 4.8-6.4 km; a Roman stadion perhaps averaged 607 ft. or 185 mtwenty-five or thirty stadia, they *saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat; and they were frightened. 20 But He *said to them, "It is I; *6:20 Or stop being afraiddo not be afraid."21 So they were willing to take Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.
