1 The LORD reigns, let the nations tremble; he sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake.2 Great is the LORD in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations.3 Let them praise your great and awesome name — he is holy.4 The King is mighty, he loves justice — you have established equity; in Jacob you have done what is just and right.5 Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his footstool; he is holy.6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel was among those who called on his name; they called on the LORD and he answered them.7 He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud; they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.8 LORD our God, you answered them; you were to Israel a forgiving God, though you punished their misdeeds. Ele está assentado entre os querubins; comova-se a terra.2 O Senhor é grande em Sião, e mais alto do que todos os povos.3 Louvem o teu nome, grande e tremendo, pois é santo.4 Também o poder do Rei ama o juízo; tu firmas a equidade, fazes juízo e justiça em Jacó.5 Exaltai ao Senhor nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos diante do escabelo de seus pés, pois é santo.6 Moisés e Arão, entre os seus sacerdotes, e Samuel entre os que invocam o seu nome, clamavam ao Senhor, e Ele lhes respondia.7 Na coluna de nuvem lhes falava; eles guardaram os seus testemunhos, e os estatutos que lhes dera.8 Tu os escutaste, Senhor nosso Deus: tu foste um Deus que lhes perdoaste, ainda que tomaste vingança dos seus feitos.9 Exaltai ao Senhor nosso Deus e adorai-o no seu monte santo, pois o Senhor nosso Deus é santo.
