1. KJV King James Version

4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. 5 For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles. 6 But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

2. NIV New International Version

4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.

5 I do not think I am in the least inferior to those "super-apostles."*11:5 Or to the most eminent apostles6 I may indeed be untrained as a speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this perfectly clear to you in every way.

3. ESV English Standard Version

4 For if someone comes and *[1 Cor. 3:11] proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept *Gal. 1:6a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough. 5 Indeed, I consider that *ch. 12:11;Gal. 2:6I am not in the least inferior to these super-apostles. 6 *See 1 Cor. 1:17Even if I am unskilled in speaking, *[Eph. 3:4] I am not so in knowledge; indeed, in every way *ch. 4:2;5:11;12:12we have made this plain to you in all things.

4. NLT New Living Translation

4 You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed.

5 But I don’t consider myself inferior in any way to these "super apostles" who teach such things. 6 I may be unskilled as a speaker, but I’m not lacking in knowledge. We have made this clear to you in every possible way.

5. NASB New American Standard Bible 2020

4 For if *11:4 Lit the one who comes preachesone comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, this you tolerate very well! 5 For I consider myself not in the least inferior to the *11:5 Or super-apostlesmost eminent apostles. 6 But even if I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not so in knowledge; in fact, in every way we have made this evident to you in all things.

4 For if a person comes and preaches another Jesus,  * 11:4 1Co 3:11 whom we did not preach, or you receive a different spirit,  * 11:4 1Jn 4:1 which you had not received, or a different gospel,  * 11:4 Gl 1:6 which you had not accepted, you put up with it splendidly!

5 Now I consider myself in no way inferior to those "super-apostles."  * 11:5 Jd 176 Even if I am untrained in public speaking,  * 11:6 1Co 1:17 I am certainly not untrained in knowledge.  * 11:6 Php 3:8; 1Jn 4:8 Indeed, we have in every way made that clear to you in everything.

7. DRA Douay-Rheims American 1899

4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Christ, whom we have not preached; or if you receive another Spirit, whom you have not received; or another gospel which you have not received; you might well bear with him. 5 For I suppose that I have done nothing less than the great apostles. 6 For although I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but in all things we have been made manifest to you.

8. MSG The Message

4-6 It seems that if someone shows up preaching quite another Jesus than we preached—different spirit, different message—you put up with him quite nicely. But if you put up with these big-shot "apostles," why can’t you put up with simple me? I’m as good as they are. It’s true that I don’t have their voice, haven’t mastered that smooth eloquence that impresses you so much. But when I do open my mouth, I at least know what I’m talking about. We haven’t kept anything back. We let you in on everything.
