Perilous Times and Perilous Men

1 But know this, that *1 Tim. 4:1; 2 Pet. 3:3; 1 John 2:18; Jude 17, 18in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 *2 Pet. 2:10traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 *Titus 1:16having a form of godliness but *1 Tim. 5:8denying its power. And *Matt. 23:3; 2 Thess. 3:6; 1 Tim. 6:5from such people turn away!
