Daniel in the Lions’ Den

10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open *1 Kin. 8:29, 30, 46–48; Ps. 5:7; Jon. 2:4toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees *Ps. 55:17; Acts 2:1, 2, 15; (Phil. 4:6); 1 Thess. 5:17, 18three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
