The Song of Mary

46 And Mary said:

*1 Sam. 2:1–10; Ps. 34:2, 3; Hab. 3:18"My soul magnifies the Lord,

47 And my spirit has *Ps. 35:9; Hab. 3:18rejoiced in *1 Tim. 1:1; 2:3; Titus 1:3; 2:10; 3:4; Jude 25God my Savior.

48 For *1 Sam. 1:11; Ps. 138:6He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;

For behold, henceforth *Luke 11:27all generations will call me blessed.

49 For He who is mighty *Ps. 71:19; 126:2, 3has done great things for me,

And *Ps. 111:9; Rev. 4:8holy is His name.
