5 In Giv’on [Hill City] the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) appeared to Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] in a dream by night: and God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] said, Ask what I shall give youi.

6 And Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] said, youi have showed unto youi servant David [beloved] my father great mercy, according as he walked before youi in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with youi; and youi have kept for him this great kindness, that youi have given him a son to sit on his throne, as [it is] this day.

7 And now, O LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], youi have made youi servant king instead of David [beloved] my father: and I [am but] a little child: I know not [how] to go out or come in.

8 And youri servant [is] in the midst of youri people which youi have chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.

9 Give therefore youri servant an understanding heart to judge youri people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this youri so great a people?

10 And the speech pleased the Lord-Adonai [Greatest Above All Things], that Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] had asked this thing.

11 And God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] said unto him, Because youi have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life; neither have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of youri enemies; but have asked for yourself understanding to discern judgment;

12 Behold, I have done according to youri words: lo, I have given youi a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like youi before youi, neither after youi shall any arise like unto youi.
