But Sha’ul [desired] and the people spared Agag [Violent], and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all [that was] good, and would not utterly destroy them: but everything [that was] vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
And Sha’ul [desired] said unto Sh’mu’el [His name is El], Yes, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and have gone the way which the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) sent me, and have brought Agag [Violent] the king of ‘Amalek [Dweller in a Valley], and have utterly destroyed the ‘Amalekim [Dwellers in a Valley].
But the people took of the spoil (plunder; prey; booty), sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] in Gilgal [A Wheel, Rolling].
And Sh’mu’el [His name is El] said, Has the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) [as great] delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate)? Behold, to obey [is] better than sacrifice, [and] to hearken than the fat of rams.
For rebellion [is as] the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness [is as] iniquity and idolatry. Because youi have rejected the word of the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), he has also rejected youi from [being] king.
