2 Corinthians 5:7,16,17,21

NMV New Messianic Version Bible

7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

16 For what reason from this time forth (from now on) know we no man after the flesh: yes, though we have known Moshiach [Messiah] after the flesh, yet now from this time forth (from now on) know we [him] no more.

17 Therefore if any man [be] in Moshiach [Messiah], [he is] a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

21 For he has made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God-The Father in him.

7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:5:17 Or Christ, that person is a new creation. The old has gone, the new is here! 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin5:21 Or be a sin offering for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

7 For we live by believing and not by seeing.

16 So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin,5:21 Or to become sin itself. so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
