24 "Then he who had received the one drew near and said: ‘My Adon [Lord - Kurios of the earth], I know that you are firm and hard and that you reap what you did not sow and gather what you did not gather’.
25 ‘So in fear of you I went and hid your coin of gold and behold you have what is yours’".
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
24 "Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’
24 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be 1 Sam. 25:3a hard man, reaping [2 Cor. 8:12]where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed,25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, ch. 20:14you have what is yours.’
24 "Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate.25 I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.’
24 "Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’
