Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone.
Yes, a man may say, youi have faith, and I have works: show me youri faith without youri works, and I will show youi my faith by my works.
youi believe that there is one God-The Father; youi do well: the demons also believe, and tremble.
But will youi know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Was not Avraham [Exalted Father] our father justified by works, when he had offered Yitz’khak [Laughter] his son upon the altar?
See youi how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
And the scripture was fulfilled which says, Avraham [Exalted Father] believed God-The Father, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God-The Father.
You2f see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Likewise also was not Rachav [Pride] [Wide] the prostitute justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent [them] out another way?
For as the body without the Spirit [Ruach] is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
