16 Por isso digo: vivam pelo Espírito, e de modo nenhum satisfarão os desejos da carne.

17 Pois a carne deseja o que é contrário ao Espírito; e o Espírito, o que é contrário à carne. Eles estão em conflito um com o outro, de modo que vocês não fazem o que desejam.

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
