1 Diz o Senhor Deus: A entrada do lado da parede interior, a oriente, estará fechada durante os seis dias úteis e só se abrirá no sábado e nos dias das celebrações da lua nova. 2 O príncipe entrará pela entrada exterior da passagem e permanecerá junto à ombreira da porta, enquanto o sacerdote oferece os seus holocaustos e ofertas de paz. Ele adorará no interior da passagem e depois regressará à entrada, a qual não será fechada antes do anoitecer. 3 O povo adorará o Senhor em frente desta passagem, nos sábados e nos dias das celebrações da lua nova.

4 Os holocaustos que o príncipe oferece ao Senhor nos dias de sábado consistirão em seis cordeiros e um carneiro, todos sem o mínimo defeito. 5 Apresentará uma oferta de cereais de 22 litros de farinha, para acompanhar o carneiro, e também uma outra quantidade, desta vez conforme o que ele entender, para acompanhar cada cordeiro. Trará também 3,8 litros de azeite por cada 22 litros de farinha. 6 Na celebração da lua nova trará um novilho perfeito, seis cordeiros e um carneiro sem qualquer imperfeição. 7 Com o novilho trará 22 litros de farinha para uma oferta de cereais. Com o carneiro trará também 22 litros de farinha. Com o cordeiro trará aquilo que ele quiser dar. Por cada quantidade de 22 litros de farinha oferecerá 3,8 litros de azeite.

8 O príncipe poderá entrar e sair pela passagem. 9 Mas quando o povo entrar pela passagem do norte, para sacrificar durante as festas religiosas, deverá depois sair pelo lado sul. E os que entrarem pelo lado sul sairão pela passagem oposta, a do norte. Nunca sairão pelo sítio por onde entraram; deverão sempre utilizar a passagem oposta. 10 O príncipe entrará e sairá juntamente com o povo nestas ocasiões.

11 Para resumir: Nas celebrações especiais e nas festas sagradas, as ofertas de cereais serão constituídas por 22 litros de farinha a acompanhar o novilho; o mesmo para acompanhar o carneiro; tanto quanto ele quiser para acompanhar o cordeiro; 3,8 litros de azeite por cada quantidade de 22 litros de farinha. 12 Sempre que o príncipe oferecer um holocausto ou uma oferta voluntária de paz, para serem sacrificados ao Senhor, o portão interior oriental será aberto para que possa entrar e oferecer os seus sacrifícios, como acontece aos sábados. Depois voltar-se-á e sairá, após o que a porta será fechada sobre ele.

13 Todas as manhãs, um cordeiro de um ano será sacrificado como holocausto ao Senhor. 14 Haverá também, todas as manhãs, uma oferta de cereais de 3,8 litros de farinha, com 1,3 litros de azeite misturados. Isto é um regulamento permanente. 15 O cordeiro, a oferta de cereal e o azeite serão fornecidos em cada manhã para esse holocausto diário.

16 Diz o Senhor Deus: Se o príncipe der uma oferta de terra a um dos seus filhos, pertencer-lhe-á sempre. 17 Mas se der uma oferta de terra a um dos seus servos, este conservá-la-á até ao ano da liberdade, ano em que se tornará livre; nessa altura, a terra retornará ao seu primeiro possuidor, o príncipe. Apenas os dons concedidos aos seus filhos terão carácter permanente. 18 Aliás, o príncipe nunca poderá subtrair a propriedade duma outra pessoa pela violência. Se der um presente de terra aos seus filhos, deverá ser das suas possessões privadas, pois não quero que o meu povo perca o que lhe pertence e que por isso tenha de abandonar a terra."

19 Depois disso, usando a porta através da parede do lado da passagem principal, conduziu-me pela entrada até ao bloco dos quartos sagrados, virados para o lado norte. Ali, no extremo oeste dessas câmaras, vi um lugar onde, 20 pelo que me foi dito pelo homem que me guiava, os sacerdotes cozem o alimento do sacrifício de culpa e da oferta pelo pecado, e onde cozem o pão com a farinha das ofertas de cereais; fazem-no aqui para evitar ter de carregar os sacrifícios através do átrio exterior, para que o povo não toque naquilo que é sagrado.

21 Tornou a trazer-me para o átrio exterior e levou-me a cada um dos quatro cantos do átrio. 22 Vi que havia em cada canto uma câmara de 20 metros de comprimento por 15 metros de largura, rodeada por paredes. 23 Debaixo das muralhas, em toda a volta, havia uma fila de fornos de tijolo. 24 Explicou-me depois que esses fornos era onde os auxiliares do templo, os levitas, coziam os sacrifícios que o povo oferecia.

1 Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened. 2 And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening. 3 Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the LORD in the sabbaths and in the new moons. 4 And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer unto the LORD in the sabbath day shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish. 5 And the meat offering shall be an ephah for a ram, and the meat offering for the lambs as he shall be able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah.*46.5 as he…: Heb. the gift of his hand 6 And in the day of the new moon it shall be a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish. 7 And he shall prepare a meat offering, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs according as his hand shall attain unto, and an hin of oil to an ephah. 8 And when the prince shall enter, he shall go in by the way of the porch of that gate, and he shall go forth by the way thereof.

9 But when the people of the land shall come before the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over against it. 10 And the prince in the midst of them, when they go in, shall go in; and when they go forth, shall go forth. 11 And in the feasts and in the solemnities the meat offering shall be an ephah to a bullock, and an ephah to a ram, and to the lambs as he is able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah. 12 Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the LORD, one shall then open him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he did on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after his going forth one shall shut the gate. 13 Thou shalt daily prepare a burnt offering unto the LORD of a lamb of the first year without blemish: thou shalt prepare it every morning.*46.13 of the…: Heb. a son of his year*46.13 every…: Heb. morning by morning 14 And thou shalt prepare a meat offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a meat offering continually by a perpetual ordinance unto the LORD. 15 Thus shall they prepare the lamb, and the meat offering, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt offering.

16 Thus saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it shall be their possession by inheritance. 17 But if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall return to the prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons’ for them. 18 Moreover the prince shall not take of the people’s inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their possession; but he shall give his sons inheritance out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered every man from his possession.

19 After he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers of the priests, which looked toward the north: and, behold, there was a place on the two sides westward. 20 Then said he unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the meat offering; that they bear them not out into the utter court, to sanctify the people. 21 Then he brought me forth into the utter court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court.*46.21 in every…: Heb. a court in a corner of a court, and a court in a corner of a court 22 In the four corners of the court there were courts joined of forty cubits long and thirty broad: these four corners were of one measure.*46.22 joined: or, made with chimneys*46.22 corners were…: Heb. cornered, etc 23 And there was a row of building round about in them, round about them four, and it was made with boiling places under the rows round about. 24 Then said he unto me, These are the places of them that boil, where the ministers of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people.
