3 pelo que Paulo lhe pediu que se lhes juntasse na viagem. Atendendo aos judeus daquela região, circuncidou Timóteo antes da partida, pois toda a gente sabia que o pai dele era grego.

1 And he came also to Derbe and to Lystra: and look, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who believed; but his father was a Greek.

3 Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and he took and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those parts: for they all knew that his father was a Greek.
