12 De novo o povo de Judá tornou a trazer os seus dízimos dos cereais, do vinho novo e do azeite para os cofres do templo.

13 Pus Selemias o sacerdote, Zadoque o escriba e Pedaías o levita como encarregados de administrar esse armazenamento. Também designei Hanã (filho de Zacur, filho de Matanias) como seu assistente. Estes homens tinham uma excelente reputação, e o seu trabalho consistia em fazer uma distribuição equitativa desses dons pelos seus irmãos levitas.

14 Ó meu Deus, lembra-te destas coisas boas que fiz; não te esqueças de tudo o que fiz pelo templo.

12 Then all Judah brought the tithe of the grain and the new wine and the oil to the treasuries.

13 And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah; for they were counted faithful, and their business was to distribute to their brothers.

14 Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and don't wipe away my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for its observances.
