27 Alltså sände konungen strax en drabant med befallning att hämta hans huvud. Och denne gick åstad och halshögg honom i fängelset

28 och bar sedan fram hans huvud på ett fat och gav det åt flickan, och flickan gav det åt sin moder.

27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, 28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.
