54 When that happens, what is written {what ◄a prophet/Isaiah► wrote} in the Scriptures will come true/happen:
God will completely get rid of [MET] death. Our dying will no longer have any power to defeat us; 55 Death [APO] will not win a victory over us. Death will not be able to hurt us.
