29 Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed that about me. But God is truly pleased with those who have believed that about me, even though they have not seen me!"
John stated the purpose of this book.
30 We disciples saw Jesus perform many other miracles, but I have not written about them in this book. 31 But these that I have written about, I have written about them in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, ◄the Son of God/the man who is also God►, and in order that you may have eternal life by trusting ◄in him/in what he has done for you► [MTY].
