5 He said to Philip, "Where will we buy food for all these people to eat?" 6 He asked this only to find out if Philip believed what Jesus could do, because Jesus already knew what he himself was going to do. 7 Philip replied to him, "Even if we had the amount of money a man earns in eight months, that would not be enough to buy bread so that each person could have a little bit!"
