Exhortation to the Elders and the Flock

1 * 5:1 I ¦ Therefore, I NA27 SBL TH WH I exhort the elders among you, I who am a fellow elder, a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, *5:2 exercising oversight, 95% ¦ --- WH 0.8%exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but *5:2 willingly; ¦ willingly, according to the will of God; ECM NA SBL THwillingly; not for sordid gain, but eagerly. 3 Do not lord it over those entrusted to you, but be examples to the flock.
