Atos 2

41 Then those who *2:41 gladly ¦ --- CTgladly received his word were baptized, and about three thousand souls were added on that day. 42 And they devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Life Among the Believers

43 A sense of awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles. 44 All who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 They were selling their possessions and belongings, and distributing the proceeds to all, as anyone had need. 46 Day by day as they continued meeting together with one accord in the temple courts and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food together with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.
