Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind
1 As Jesus walked along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind?" 3 Jesus answered, "Neither did this man sin nor his parents, but it happened so that the works of God might be revealed in him. 4 9:4 I 99.2% ¦ We CT 0.5%I must do the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." 6 After saying this, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. So he went and washed, and came away seeing. 8 Then his neighbors and those who had previously seen that he was 9:8 blind ¦ a beggar CTblind were saying, "Is this not the man who used to sit and beg?" 9 Others were saying, "It is he." 9:9 Still others were saying, "He ¦ Others were saying, "No, but he CTStill others were saying, "He is like him." But he kept saying, "I am he." 10 So they said to him, "9:10 How ¦ How then NA WHHow were yoʋr eyes opened?" 11 He answered, "9:11 A ¦ The CTA man named Jesus made mud, rubbed it on my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to 9:11 the pool of 95.8% ¦ --- CT 2%the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and received my sight." 12 They said to him, "Where is this man?"
