1 "At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were *25:2 wise, and five were foolish ¦ foolish, and five were wise CTwise, and five were foolish. 3 When *25:3 those who were ¦ the CTthose who were foolish took their lamps, they did not take oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their flasks along with their lamps. 5 When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. 6 But in the middle of the night there was a shout: ‘Behold, the bridegroom *25:6 is coming ¦ --- CTis coming! Come out to meet him.’ 7 Then all the virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise replied, ‘No, there will *25:9 not 𝔐11 ¦ certainly not 𝔐14 CTnot be enough for us and for you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 But while they were on their way to buy it, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast. Then the door was shut. 11 Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Therefore keep watch, for you do not know the day or the hour *25:13 in which the Son of Man is coming 89.3% ¦ --- CT 10.4%in which the Son of Man is coming.
