Life in the Spirit
1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ 8:1 Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 91.9% ¦ Jesus. CT 2.5%Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set 8:2 me ¦ yoʋ NA SBL WHme free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do since it was weak through the flesh, God has done. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6 Now the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mindset of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God; indeed, it is unable to do so. 8 That is why those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised 8:11 Christ 85.3% • NA TH 2.3% ¦ Christ Jesus SBL WH 2%Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies 8:11 because of 77% ¦ through NA SCR WH 16.4%because of his Spirit who dwells in you.
