Future Glory
18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed to us. 19 The creation waits with eager longing for the sons of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will also be set free from the slavery of corruption and brought into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that all creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now. 23 Not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope, for 8:24 why would someone hope ¦ who hopes NA SBL WHwhy would someone hope for what he already sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patient endurance.
26 In the same way the Spirit also helps us in our 8:26 weaknesses 91.3% ¦ weakness CT 4.9%weaknesses. For we do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes 8:26 for us ¦ --- CTfor us with inexpressible groanings. 27 And he who searches the hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
