12 Und ganz Juda brachte den Zehnten des Getreides, und des Mostes, und des Oels in den Schatz.

13 Und ich bestellte als Aufseher über den Schatz Schelemja, den Priester, und Zadok, den Schriftgelehrten, und Pedaja aus den Leviten, und ihnen zur Hand Hanan, den Sohn Sachurs, des Sohnes Mathanja's; denn sie wurden für treu gehalten; und es wurde ihnen aufgelegt, (denselben) unter ihre Brüder zu vertheilen.

14 Gedenke meiner, mein Gott! deßhalb; und lösche nicht aus meine Wohlthaten, welche ich dem Hause meines Gottes, und seinem Dienste erwiesen habe.

12 Then brought all Judah the tithe of the grain and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries. 13 And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah; for they were counted faithful, and their business was to distribute unto their brethren. 14 Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the observances thereof.
