1 Con trai của Y-sơ-ra-ên là Ru-bên, Si-mê-ôn, Lê-vi, Giu-đa, Y-sa-ca, Sa-bu-lôn,
2 Đan, Giô-sép, Bên-gia-min, Nép-ta-li, Gát, và A-se.
3 Con trai của Giu-đa là Ê-rơ, Ô-nan, và Sê-la. Ba người nầy Giu-đa sanh ra bởi con gái Su -a, người Ca-na-an. Ê-rơ, con cả của Giu-đa, làm sự dữ trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va, nên Ngài giết nó đi.
4 Ta-ma, là dâu của Giu-đa, sanh cho người Phê-rết và Xê-rách. Tổng cộng các con của Giu-đa được năm người.
5 Con trai của Phê-rết là Hết-rôn và Ha-mun.
6 Con trai của Xê-rách là Xim-ri, Ê-than, Hê-man, Canh-côn, và Đa-ra, cộng là năm người.
7 Con trai của Cạt-mi là A-ca, tức kẻ làm rối loạn trong Y-sơ-ra-ên, phạm đến vật nghiêm cấm.
8 Con trai của Ê-than là A-xa-ria.
9 Con trai Hết-rôn sanh ra là Giê-rác-mê-en, Ram, và Kê-lu-bai.
10 Ram sanh ra A-mi-na-đáp, A-mi-na-đáp sanh Na-ha-sôn, làm quan trưởng của người Giu-đa.
11 Na-ha-sôn sanh Sanh-ma,
12 Sanh-ma sanh Bô-ô, Bô-ô sanh Ô-bết, Ô-bết sanh Y-sai.
13 Y-sai sanh con đầu lòng là Ê-li-áp, con thứ nhì là A-bi-na-đáp, thứ ba là Si-mê -a,
14 thứ tư là Na-tha-na-ên, thứ năm là Ra-đai,
15 thứ sáu là Ô-xem, thứ bảy là Đa-vít.
16 Còn Xê-ru-gia và A-bi-ga-in là chị em của những người ấy. Xê-ru-gia có ba con là A-bi-sai, Giô-áp, và A-xa-ên.
17 A-bi-ga-in sanh A-ma-sa; cha của A-ma-sa là Giê-the, người Ích-ma-ên.
18 Ca-lép, con của Hết-rôn, lấy vợ, là A-xu-ba, với Giê-ri-ốt, rồi sanh con là Giê-se, Sô-báp, và At-đôn.
19 A-xu-ba qua đời, thì Ca-lép lấy Ê-phơ-rát; nàng sanh Hu-rơ cho người.
20 Hu-rơ sanh U-ri, U-ri sanh ra Bết-sa-lê-ên.
21 Sau khi ấy, Hết-rôn đã được sáu mươi tuổi, bèn cưới con gái của Ma-ki, là cha của Ga-la-át, mà làm vợ; người năm cùng nàng, nàng sanh được Sê-gúp.
22 Sê-gúp sanh Giai-rơ, người nầy được hai mươi ba thành trong xứ Ga-la-át.
23 Dân Ghe-su-rơ và dân Sy-ri chiếm lấy những thành Giai-rơ và Kê-nát, luôn với các hương thôn của địa hạt nó, cộng là sáu mươi thành. Những người ấy đều là con cháu Ma-ki, cha Ga-la-át.
24 Sau khi Hết-rôn qua đời tại Ca-lép Ep-ra-tha rồi, thì vợ người là A-bi-gia, sanh cho người A-su-rơ, là cha của Thê-cô -a.
25 Giê-rác-mê-ên, con trưởng nam của Hết-rôn, sanh Ram, là con đầu lòng, kế đến Bu-na, Ô-ren, Ô-xem, và A-hi-gia.
26 Giê-rác-mê-ên lại lấy vợ khác, tên là A-ta-ra, mẹ của Ô-nam.
27 Con trai của Ram, con trưởng nam của Giê-rác-mê-ên, là Ma-ách, Gia-min, và Ê-ke.
28 Con trai của Ô-nam là Sa-mai và Gia-đa. Con trai của Sa-mai, là Na-đáp và A-bi-su.
29 Tên vợ của A-bi-su là A-bi-hai; nàng sanh cho người Ac-ban và Mô-lít.
30 Con trai của Na-đáp là Sê-le và Ap-ba-im. Nhưng Sê-le qua đời, không có con.
31 Con trai của Ap-ba-im là Di-si. Con trai của Di-si là Sê-san. Con trai của Sê-san là Ac-lai.
32 Con trai của Gia-đa, em Sa-mai, là Giê-the và Giô-na-than; Giê-the qua đời, không có con.
33 Con trai của Giô-na-than là Phê-lết và Xa-xa. Ay là con cháu Giê-rác-mê-ên.
34 Vả, Sê-san không con trai, song có con gái; cũng có một đứa tôi tớ Ê-díp-tô, lên là Gia-ra.
35 Sê-san gả con gái mình cho nó; nàng sanh At-tai cho người.
36 At-tai sanh Na-than, Na-than sanh Xa-bát,
37 Xa-bát sanh Ep-la, Ep-la sanh Ô-bết,
38 Ô-bết sanh Giê-hu, Giê-hu sanh A-xa-ria,
39 A-xa-ria sanh Hê-lết, Hê-lết sanh Ê-la-xa,
40 Ê-la-xa sanh Sít-mai, Sít-mai sanh Sa-lum,
41 Sa-lum sanh Giê-ca-mia, Giê-ca-mia sanh Ê-li-sa-ma.
42 Con trai Ca-lép, là em của Giê-rác-mê-ên, là con cả của Mê-sa, tức tổ phụ của Xíp, và những con trai của Ma-rê-sa, là tổ phụ của Hếp-rôn.
43 Con trai của Hếp-rôn là Cô-ra, Táp-bua, Rê-kem, và Sê-ma.
44 Sê-ma sanh Ra-cham, là tổ phụ của Giô-kê-am; còn Rê-kem sanh Sa-mai.
45 Con trai của Sa-mai là Ma-ôn; và Ma-ôn là tổ phụ của Bết-sua.
46 Ê-pha, là hầu của Ca-lép, anh Ha-ran, Một-sa, và Ga-xe; Ha-ran sanh Ga-xe.
47 Con trai của Gia-đai là Rê-ghem, Giô-than, Ghê-san, Phê-lết, Ê-pha, và Sa-áp.
48 Hầu của Ca-lép, là Ma -a-ca, sanh Sê-be và Ti-ra-na.
49 Nàng cũng sanh Sa-áp, là tổ phụ của Mát-ma-na, Sê-va, tổ phụ của Mác-bê-na, và tổ phụ của Ghi-bê -a. Con gái Ca-lép là Ac-sa.
50 Đây là những con cháu của Ca-lép: Sô-banh, con trai của Hu-rơ, là con trưởng nam của Ep-ra-ta, và tổ phụ của Ki-ri-át-Giê -a-rim;
51 Sanh-ma tổ phụ của Bết-lê-hem; Ha-rép tổ phụ của Bết-ga-đe.
52 Sô-banh, tổ phụ của Ki-ri-át-Giê -a-rim có con trai; người sanh Ha-rô-ê và nửa phần dân Mê-nu-hốt.
53 Các dòng của Ki-ri-át-Giê -a-rim là Dít-rít, Phu-tít, Su-ma-tít, và Mích-ra-ít; cũng bởi những dòng ấy mà có dân Xô-ra-tít và dân Ech-tao-lít.
54 Con cháu của Sanh-ma là Bết-lê-hem, người Nê-tô-pha-tít, người At-rốt-Bết-Giô-áp, nửa phần dân Ma-na-ha-tít, và người Xô-rít.
55 Lại các họ hàng của những thầy thông giáo ở Gia-bết là họ Ti-ra-tít, họ Si-ma-tít, và họ Su-ca-tít. Ay là dân Kê-nít, sanh ra bởi Ha-mát, tổ tiên của nhà Rê-cáp.

2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 Sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, three have been born to him of a daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, first-born of Judah, is evil in the eyes of Jehovah, and He putteth him to death.
4 And Tamar his daughter-in-law hath borne to him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah [are] five.
5 Sons of Pharez: Hezron, and Hamul.
6 And sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; all of them five.
7 And sons of Carmi: Achar, troubler of Israel, who trespassed in the devoted thing.
8 And sons of Ethan: Azariah.
9 And sons of Hezron who were born to him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10 And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;
11 and Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
12 and Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse;
13 and Jesse begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,
14 Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh,
16 and their sisters Zeruiah and Abigail. And sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asah-El -- three.
17 And Abigail hath borne Amasa, and the father of Amasa [is] Jether the Ishmeelite.
18 And Caleb son of Hezron hath begotten Azubah, Isshah, and Jerioth; and these [are] her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 And Azubah dieth, and Caleb taketh to him Ephrath, and she beareth to him Hur.
20 And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.
21 And afterwards hath Hezron gone in unto a daughter of Machir father of Gilead, and he hath taken her, and he [is] a son of sixty years, and she beareth to him Segub.
22 And Segub begat Jair, and he hath twenty and three cities in the land of Gilead,
23 and he taketh Geshur and Aram, the small villages of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its small towns, sixty cities -- all these [belonged to] the sons of Machir father of Gilead.
24 And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, then the wife of Hezron, Abijah, even beareth to him Asshur, father of Tekoa.
25 And sons of Jerahmeel, first-born of Hezron, are: the first-born Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
26 And Jerahmeel hath another wife, and her name [is] Atarah, she [is] mother of Onam.
27 And sons of Ram, first-born of Jerahmeel, are Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28 And sons of Onam are Shammai and Jada. And sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur [is] Abihail, and she beareth to him Ahban and Molid.
30 And sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; and Seled dieth without sons.
31 And sons of Appaim: Ishi. And sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32 And sons of Jada, brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether dieth without sons.
33 And sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were sons of Jerahmeel.
34 And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters, and Sheshan hath a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [is] Jarha,
35 and Sheshan giveth his daughter to Jarha his servant for a wife, and she beareth to him Attai;
36 and Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,
37 and Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,
38 and Obed begat Jehu,
39 and Jehu begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
40 and Eleasah begat Sismai, and Sismai begat Shallum,
41 and Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
42 And sons of Caleb brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his first-born, he [is] father of Ziph; and sons of Mareshah: Abi-Hebron.
43 And sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44 And Shema begat Raham father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begat Shammai.
45 And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.
46 And Ephah concubine of Caleb bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begat Gazez.
47 And sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshem, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 The concubine of Caleb, Maachah, bare Sheber and Tirhanah;
49 and she beareth Shaaph father of Madmannah, Sheva father of Machbenah, and father of Gibea; and a daughter of Caleb [is] Achsa.
50 These were sons of Caleb son of Hur, first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim,
51 Salma father of Beth-Lehem, Hareph father of Beth-Gader.
52 And there are sons to Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim: Haroeh, half of the Menuhothite;
53 and the families of Kirjath-Jearim: the Ithrite, and the Puhite, and the Shumathite, and the Mishraite: from these went out the Zareathite, and the Eshtaulite.
54 Sons of Salma: Beth-Lehem, and the Netophathite, Atroth, Beth-Joab, and half of the Menuhothite, the Zorite;
55 and the families of the scribes the inhabitants of Jabez: Tirathites, Shimeathites, Suchathites. They [are] the Kenites, those coming of Hammath father of the house of Rechab.
