2 Ich hab eine Bitte an euch: Passt auf die Gemeinde gut auf, ja? Sorgt für sie, wie sich ein guter Hirte um seine Schafe kümmert. Tut das freiwillig, nicht weil euch irgendjemand dazu zwingt, da steht Gott voll drauf! Es geht nicht darum, Kohle zu machen, es geht um das Herz.

3 Spielt euch nicht als den großen Superleiter auf, dem alle gehorchen müssen. Leitet dadurch, dass ihr ein Vorbild seid.

2 Tend the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not of constraint, but willingly, according to the will of God; nor yet for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3 neither as lording it over the charge allotted to you, but making yourselves ensamples to the flock.
