55 Stephanus, der abgefüllt war mit dem heiligen Geist, sah nach oben und konnte dort plötzlich Gott sehen, wie der voll von Licht und Wärme strahlte. Neben Gott aber stand Jesus!

56 „Ich kann in den Himmel sehen!", rief Stephanus, „und da sehe ich Jesus, als den Chef der Menschen, wie er auf der Ehrentribüne sitzt, auf dem Chefsessel gleich neben Gott!"

55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 and said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
