17 Denn unser altes Ich treibt uns förmlich dazu, Mist zu bauen, ganz im Gegensatz zum heiligen Geist. Der heilige Geist will das alte Ich unter Kontrolle bringen, er will uns zu Sachen führen, die unser altes Ich eigentlich nicht will. Da geht voll der Kampf ab in euch und ihr seid dabei total unfrei!

17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.
