Sie durchdringen unsere geheimsten Gedanken und unsere tiefsten Träume. Sie trennen das, was von uns kommt, und das, was von Gott ist. Sie verurteilen oder bestätigen uns, je nachdem, wie wir leben. Und das tun sie ganz neutral, man kann sie nicht bestechen oder belabern.

12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.
