8 Zachäus stellte sich vor Jesus hin und meinte zu ihm: „Jesus, ich werde sofort die Hälfte von meinem Barvermögen an Obdachlose und Sozialhilfeempfänger verteilen. Und wenn ich jemanden in Steuerangelegenheiten betrogen hab, dann geb ich es ihm in der vierfachen Höhe wieder!"

8 And Zacchæus stood, and said unto the Lord, Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wrongfully exacted aught of any man, I restore fourfold.
