6 Das alte sündige Programm macht uns nur fertig und bringt uns den Tod; das neue Programm aber bringt uns Frieden und Leben.

7 So wie wir Menschen von Natur aus drauf sind, haben wir eigentlich keine Lust auf Gott. Das liegt auch da dran, weil wir nicht so leben können, wie Gott es von uns will. Und irgendwie wollen wir auch gar nicht so leben.

8 Weil wir so sind, kann Gott eigentlich keinen Bock mehr auf uns haben.

6 For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace: 7 because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be: 8 and they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
