22 and said, Lo! Adam is made as one of us, and knoweth good and evil; now therefore see ye, lest peradventure he put [out] his hand, and take [also] of the tree of life, and eat, and live without end.
24 And God casted out Adam, and setted before paradise of liking cherubim, that is, gave it unto the keeping of angels, and a sword of flame turning about to keep charge of the way of the tree of life.
22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
22 And the Lord God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." 24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side3:24 Or placed in front of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
22 Then the Lord God said, ver. 5"Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand ch. 2:9and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—" 24 He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the Ps. 18:10;104:4;Heb. 1:7;[Ex. 25:18-22;Ezek. 28:11-16]cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.
