15 a man is as hay; his day[s] shall flower out so as a flower of the field.
16 For the spirit shall pass in him, and it shall not abide; and it shall no more know his place.
17 But the mercy of the Lord is from without beginning, and till into with-out end; on men dreading him. And his rightfulness [or rightwiseness]is into the sons of sons;
18 to them that keep his testament. And be mindful of his command-ments; to do those [or them].
15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.103.16 it is…: Heb. it is not
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.
