14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man says he has faith, but has no works? Can faith save him? 17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. 18 Yes, a man will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
24 You see then that by works a man is justified, and not only by faith.
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

18 Now someone may argue, "Some people have faith; others have good deeds." But I say, "How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds."
24 So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.
