14having eyes full of adultery, and who can’t cease from sin, enticing unsettled souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children!

8But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

15Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you,

18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

1Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ,1:1 "Christ" means "Anointed One". according to the faith of God’s chosen ones and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

2in hope of eternal life, which God, who can’t lie, promised before time began;

4to Titus, my true child according to a common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

11Get out of the way. Turn away from the path. Cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us."

15For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, "You will be saved in returning and rest. Your strength will be in quietness and in confidence." You refused,

19For the people will dwell in Zion at Jerusalem. You will weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the voice of your cry. When he hears you, he will answer you.

3For you, like a house bravely built on the pillar of your children, bore the shock of tortures without swaying.

4Cheer up, therefore, O holy-minded mother! Hold the firm hope of your steadfastness with God.

5Then these men said, "We won’t find any occasion against this Daniel, unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God."

26"I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel."For he is the living God,and steadfast forever.His kingdom is that which will not be destroyed.His dominion will be even to the end.

27He delivers and rescues.He works signs and wonders in heaven and in earth,who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions."

1Save me, God, by your name.Vindicate me in your might.

4Behold, God is my helper.The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.

7For he has delivered me out of all trouble.My eye has seen triumph over my enemies.

12You saved me from destructionand delivered me from the evil time.Therefore I will give thanks and praise to you,and bless the name of the Lord.

35Then they brought it to Jesus. They threw their cloaks on the colt and sat Jesus on them.

44and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation."

16Seeing then that we are about to celebrate the purification, we write to you. You will therefore do well if you celebrate the days.

17Now God, who saved all his people, and restored the heritage to all, with the kingdom, the priesthood, and the consecration,

18even as he promised through the law—in God have we hope, that he will soon have mercy upon us, and gather us together out of everywhere under heaven into his holy place; for he delivered us out of great evils, and purified the place.———————

3Those who are wise will shine as the brightness of the expanse. Those who turn many to righteousness will shine as the stars forever and ever.

4But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many will run back and forth, and knowledge will be increased."

8I heard, but I didn’t understand. Then I said, "My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?"
