25 The husbands! love your own wives, as also the Christ did love the assembly, and did give himself for it,

33 but ye also, every one in particular -- let each his own wife so love as himself, and the wife -- that she may reverence the husband.

28 so ought the husbands to love their own wives as their own bodies: he who is loving his own wife -- himself he doth love;29 for no one ever his own flesh did hate, but doth nourish and cherish it, as also the Lord -- the assembly,

25 Wherefore, putting away the lying, speak truth each with his neighbour, because we are members one of another;

26 be angry and do not sin; let not the sun go down upon your wrath,27 neither give place to the devil;

29 Let no corrupt word out of your mouth go forth, but what is good unto the needful building up, that it may give grace to the hearers;

31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil-speaking, be put away from you, with all malice,32 and become one to another kind, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, according as also God in Christ did forgive you.

6 so that they are no more two, but one flesh; what therefore God did join together, let no man put asunder.

15 and if wrong in your eyes to serve Jehovah -- choose for you to-day whom ye do serve; -- whether the gods whom your fathers served, which [are] beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorite in whose land ye are dwelling; and I and my house -- we serve Jehovah.

4 honourable [is] the marriage in all, and the bed undefiled, and whoremongers and adulterers God shall judge.

18 The wives! be subject to your own husbands, as is fit in the Lord;19 the husbands! love your wives, and be not bitter with them;

14 and above all these things, [have] love, which is a bond of the perfection,15 and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye were called in one body, and become thankful.

12 Put on, therefore, as choice ones of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humble-mindedness, meekness, long-suffering,13 forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any one with any one may have a quarrel, as also the Christ did forgive you -- so also ye;

4 The love is long-suffering, it is kind, the love doth not envy, the love doth not vaunt itself, is not puffed up,5 doth not act unseemly, doth not seek its own things, is not provoked, doth not impute evil,6 rejoiceth not over the unrighteousness, and rejoiceth with the truth;7 all things it beareth, all it believeth, all it hopeth, all it endureth.

10 and to the married I announce -- not I, but the Lord -- let not a wife separate from a husband:11 but and if she may separate, let her remain unmarried, or to the husband let her be reconciled, and let not a husband send away a wife.

3 to the wife let the husband the due benevolence render, and in like manner also the wife to the husband;4 the wife over her own body hath not authority, but the husband; and, in like manner also, the husband over his own body hath not authority, but the wife.5 Defraud not one another, except by consent for a time, that ye may be free for fasting and prayer, and again may come together, that the Adversary may not tempt you because of your incontinence;

3 nothing in rivalry or vain-glory, but in humility of mind one another counting more excellent than yourselves --4 each not to your own look ye, but each also to the things of others.

15 see no one evil for evil may render to any one, but always that which is good pursue ye, both to one another and to all;

8 and, before all things, to one another having the earnest love, because the love shall cover a multitude of sins;

22 [Whoso] hath found a wife hath found good, And bringeth out good-will from Jehovah.
