Who made heaven and earth.
God the Refuge of His People and Conqueror of the Nations
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who uphold my life.
But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
Heis their strength in the time of trouble.
And the Lord shall help them and deliver them;
He shall deliver them from the wicked,
And save them,
Because they trust in Him.
Make haste to help me,
O Lord, my salvation!
Help us, O God of our salvation,
For the glory of Your name;
And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins,
For Your name’s sake!
Blessed be the Lord,
Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!
The Lordismy strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.
Unless the Lordhadbeen my help,
My soul would soon have settled in silence.
For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’
"You have also given me the shield of Your salvation;
Your gentleness has made me great.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to thewillof God.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
