Alegria e felicidade

A alegria verdadeira nem sempre depende de dias fáceis ou de circunstâncias favoráveis. Muitas vezes, o peso da rotina e as dificuldades da vida tentam sufocar a esperança que você carrega no peito. No entanto, as Escrituras apontam para uma serenidade que resiste às crises, porque nasce da certeza do cuidado de Deus.

A alegria é fruto do Espírito e marca do cristão. Alegrai-vos sempre no Senhor! A Bíblia ensina que a alegria de Deus é nossa fortaleza — não depende de circunstâncias, mas da presença de Deus.

Alegrai-vos no Senhor

Alegrai-vos sempre no Senhor! Outra vez digo: alegrai-vos! Na presença de Deus há plenitude de alegria eterna.

4 Reioyce in the Lord alway, againe I say, reioyce.(Philippians 4:4)

11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is the fulnesse of ioy: and at thy right hand there are pleasures for euermore.(Psalms 16:11)

Fruto do Espírito

O fruto do Espírito é amor, alegria, paz. A alegria do Senhor é nossa fortaleza — não depende do mundo.

22 But the fruite of the Spirit is loue, ioye, peace, long suffering, gentlenes, goodnes, fayth, 23 Meekenesse, temperancie: against such there is no lawe.(Galatians 5:22,23)

10 He saide also vnto the, Go, and eate of the fat, and drinke the sweete, and send part vnto them, for whome none is prepared: for this day is holie vnto our Lord: be ye not sorie therefore: for the ioy of the Lord is your strength.(Nehemiah 8:10)

Alegria nas tribulações

Os que semeiam em lágrimas ceifarão com alegria. Tende por motivo de grande gozo quando caídes em diversas tentações.

5 They that sowe in teares, shall reape in ioy.(Psalms 126:5)

5 For he endureth but a while in his anger: but in his fauour is life: weeping may abide at euening, but ioy commeth in the morning.(Psalms 30:5)

2 My brethren, count it exceeding ioy, when ye fall into diuers tentations, 3 Knowing that ye trying of your faith bringeth forth patience,(James 1:2,3)

17 For the figtree shall not flourish, neither shall fruite be in the vines: the labour of the oliue shall faile, and the fieldes shall yeelde no meate: the sheepe shalbe cut off from the folde, and there shalbe no bullocke in the stalles. 18 But I will reioyce in the Lord: I will ioy in the God of my saluation.(Habakkuk 3:17,18)

Alegrai-vos com os que se alegram. O Senhor fez coisas grandiosas por nós — alegrai-vos no Senhor e regozijai-vos.

A minha alegria esteja em vós e a vossa alegria seja completa. Pedi e recebereis para que a vossa alegria seja plena.

11 These things haue I spoken vnto you, that my ioy might remaine in you, and that your ioy might be full.(John 15:11)

22 And ye nowe therefore are in sorowe: but I will see you againe, and your hearts shall reioyce, and your ioy shall no man take from you.(John 16:22)

Alegria eterna

Alegria eterna terão sobre suas cabeças. O Senhor reinará com alegria sobre o seu povo para todo o sempre.

3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased their ioye: they haue reioyced before thee according to the ioye in haruest, and as men reioyce when they deuide a spoyle.(Isaiah 9:3)

6 Cry out, and shoute, O inhabitant of Zion: for great is ye holy one of Israel in the middes of thee.(Isaiah 12:6)

10 Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall returne and come to Zion with prayse: and euerlasting ioy shall bee vpon their heads: they shall obteine ioye and gladnesse, and sorow and mourning shall flee away.(Isaiah 35:10)

10 I will greatly reioyce in the Lord, and my soule shall be ioyfull in my God: for he hath clothed mee with the garments of saluation, and couered me with the robe of righteousnes: hee hath decked me like a bridegrome, and as a bride tireth herselfe with her iewels.(Isaiah 61:10)
