Alimento
O alimento é provisão de Deus para o corpo e a alma. Jesus disse: Eu sou o pão da vida. A Bíblia ensina a receber com gratidão, partilhar com generosidade e confiar no Provedor.
O pão da vida
Jesus disse: Eu sou o pão da vida. Quem vem a mim nunca terá fome. O alimento espiritual sacia plenamente.
Provisão divina
Deus provê alimento em abundância. Ele multiplica pães e peixes, enche os famintos e supre toda necessidade.
10 Remember that without faith you can do nothing; therefore ask in faith. Trifle not with these things; do not ask for that which you ought not.
Gratidão e moderação
Nada trouxemos para o mundo e nada levaremos. Tudo o que fizerdes, fazei para a glória de Deus — inclusive comer e beber.
3 Nevertheless, I have received a commandment of the Lord that I should make these plates, for the special purpose that there should be an account engraven of the ministry of my people.4 Upon the other plates should be engraven an account of the reign of the kings, and the wars and contentions of my people; wherefore these plates are for the more part of the ministry; and the other plates are for the more part of the reign of the kings and the wars and contentions of my people.
